Macmillan Coffee Morning...

What a phenomenal success was had today when we had our first MacMillan Charity Day and raised the amazing sum of £1679.60.

I cannot thank everyone enough for their support and hard work in making this event such a success.

All prizes were donated by club members and I’m sure not many events have raffle prizes like you can see on our photo page. Your generosity was outstanding.

Full support especially on the day from Bessingby Bowls and families from both clubs attending made it so successful.

We have such special people in our club that make these events work because they all contribute with their enthusiasm and quite honestly just get on and do whatever needs to be done.

To say how proud and honoured I am to be part of this club is an understatement.

There are some photos on the photos page.

New Year's Eve Party	. Wednesday 31st December 2025 What a great night ! It is a pity that it is almost impossible to take some photos of the event but it is decorated to look like a disco with special lighting and candles so the pics come out almost black. But we had a ball. Ron and Dave excelled this year with our firework display (we wont mention a tiny mishap but luckily no one was in the line of fire). With John G on DJ duty we had a full dance floor. Massive celebrations at midnight with Sweet Caroline almost taking the roof off. You cannot beat a DP party. Organiser: Janet
