The Dates and Details of Our Social Events.

Winter Walks with Carol.

Winter Walks will be held every Tuesday morning, leaving the Willow Lawn Car Park at Ruislip Lido at 10.30 a. m.

A gentle one or two laps of the Lido, followed by tea/coffee and a chat in the café at the end of your walk.

Any change of venue etc. will be advised by email. All welcome.

Whist Afternoons...

We will be holding a Whist Afternoon on the following dates:

Monday 10th February

George's Report: On a damp and dismal Monday afternoon fifteen bowlers and one imperceptible dummy warmed themselves at our Deane Park whist afternoon.

In a close finish, with only three points separating the top four positions, Pam and Jack each collected a bottle of wine and were victorious with 84 points. One point behind, the runners-up were Carol L and Brian with 83 points. Lynda and Tony scored 82 one point ahead of George W and David. Lesley and Ray were the Mars bar collectors.

Thanks Ray for another afternoon of competition and enjoyment. Our next social afternoon is on Friday 21st February.

Isle of Wight Bowls Tour	. 20th to 24th May 2024 Staying at Warners Bembridge Coast. We had a great time and great weather. There are some photos on the photos page. You can read Dave's detailed review of the week by clicking HERE

Annual Awards Dinner	. Thursday 31st October 2024 Our Annual Awards Dinner for 2024 was held at a new venue - Sudbury Golf Club, Bridgewater Road, Wembley. Pre-Christmas Break - Warners Bembridge Coast Hotel	. 13th-16th December 2024 Returning to the popular Warners for a 3 night half-board break, with evening entertainment just prior to Christmas. Please contact Ray Snook for further details.


Dorset Bowls Resort	. 3rd-7th February 2025 The Dorset Bowls resort offers 3 indoor rinks and excellent accommodation. We all had a great time. There are some photos in the photo gallery and you can read Capt. Dave's review of the week by clicking HERE

Cyprus Bowls Tour	. 22nd-29th March 2025 Our spring 2025 overseas bowls tour will take us to Paphos, Cyprus in 2025. Staying at the Athena Beach Hotel on a half board basis. 4 games of bowls included, at local clubs, the hotel rinks and 1 roll up game. Flying from Heathrow, excellent hotel and facilities.
